When I was watching, there were many times when “Socrates” (the guide) said something or revealed a lesson I already knew and already guessed he was going to say (in the same exact words too). While I agree with the overall message of the movie and I feel that there were some great moments (like the rooftop scene), I found the movie quite slow paced and predictable.
“The ones who are hardest to love are usually the ones who need it the most.”.In fact, I’ve included several dialogue in the movie in my inspiring quotes series. I like the Peaceful Warrior and there are many meaningful messages scattered throughout the show.

While they’re not exactly in the “inspirational” genre, they are inspiring to me in their own way. I do love superhero movies (think X-Men, Marvel movies) and romantic comedies ( Enchanted, Ever After, Anastasia) - the former for its good triumphing over evil and epic humanity-centered messages, the latter for the light-heartedness, humor, and romance. To be honest, I don’t watch A LOT of movies.
